When you take ibuprofen you need to be aware of possible ibuprofen side effects. When you’ve been taking ibuprofen for a while, the common side effect is stomach pain. This mean you should be taking ibuprofen with food, milk or antacid. Ibuprofen can cause heart burn. Or if you already have heart burn, Ibuprofen can make it worse. Another ibuprofen side effect is being sleepy or dizzy.
Be careful when you take ibuprofen with other medicines. It can affect how other drugs work on your body.
For example, if you are required to take aspirin for heart disease, you should not take ibuprofen. Taking ibuprofen while you are on aspirin can prevent aspirin from doing its job on your body.

- If you are allergic to aspirin, do not take ibuprofen without your doctor’s permission.
- Suppose you are taking ibuprofen, do not drink alcohol. Drinking alcohol after taking ibuprofen can cause stomach pain or make it worse

- Heart disease
- High blood pressure
- Kidney problems
- If you are pregnant, breast feeding or taking any other medicine. Check or ask your doctor before taking ibuprofen.
When you take ibuprofen, you need to watch for these symptoms
- Skin rash
- Ringing of your ears
- Either difficult to you with going to the bathroom or you noticed your urine is cloudy is bloody
- You experience severe headaches
- Bloody or black colored stool
- Many bruises that are new on your body
- Doesn’t stop bleeding when you’ve been cut or wounded.
- You feel exhausted or very dizzy
- You are gaining weight
- Short of breath
